Sir Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton, born in 1642, was an English scientist. He is very well known for developing the three laws of motion, which were published in 1687. In it, he proved how the force of gravity acts upon all objects in the universe.
Newton attended Cambridge University, where he gained the knowledge to soon become a mathematics professor. In 1668, he invented the reflective telescope, which gained his recognition for his accomplishments. Isaac Newton began dedicating much of his time to his studies of optics and mathematics. He published several works, including topics on history, theology, and alchemy.
Later in his life, Newton was elected as a member of Parliament and the Royal Mint in London. He died in 1727. Isaac Newton was a dominant figure in English history and science, and his successful life and discoveries led him to be considered the greatest scientist of his era.
